50+ Intro to Archery
For those 50 years and up interested in archery but who don’t know how to get started, the USA Archery-certified instructors are teaching a senior’s only version of our popular Introduction to Archery course. Learn the basics of this fun and rewarding sport, including the rules, safety and step-by-step shooting form for tournament-style target archery with adjustable compound bows for individuals of all strengths and draw lengths. All classes take place on the group instructional range located directly next to Rockwood Nature Center. Class is held rain or shine, in the event of inclement weather, instruction and shooting will take place inside the nature center’s classroom. Minimum age is 50.
